David Hart, FAIA | Executive Vice President, Continuous Alignment System Initiative

David Hart has over 40 years of experience in planning and programming, program management; architecture; and the design of large, complex, and politically sensitive projects throughout the public sector. He has experience with public architecture, including city halls, police departments, and civic centers for Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County. Prior to joining MOCA, he was the Executive Director of the Utah State Capitol Preservation Board. During this time, he served as the “Owner” of the State Capitol. Having served as the facility owner he is fully knowledgeable and acquainted with the needs that government owners have. He is also aware of the politics that surround the project and the transparent accounting of all activities involving public dollars. He will provide this perspective to Lehi City while supporting the planning and programming in the early stages and throughout the complete project.
