Brigham & Women’s Hospital Ambulatory Care Center
As one of the leading hospitals in the U.S., Brigham and Women’s is constantly looking to incorporate the latest treatments and equipment into existing buildings with limited space and tight schedules. So when the hospital needed a company that could assure patient comfort and privacy while also anticipating changing technology and care patterns into the design, they chose MOCA Systems.
Brigham & Women’s Hospital hired MOCA Systems to provide professional services on multiple projects, including the renovation and upgrade of an existing building to accommodate an Ambulatory Care Center. The project included factoring in sustainable building considerations, as well as the hospital’s image and financial impetus as its main concerns
“MOCA gave us new insight into the cost and schedule drivers on this project. We’re always scrambling to get the work going and done as quickly as possible, and now that we have our “MOCA library” of BWH rooms and suites, we use MOCA to establish the cost of suites with different layouts at the earliest budget feasibility stages, for much faster review and decisions.”
