Hickam Air Force Base Corrosion Control Hangar & Maintenance Facility

Honolulu County, Hawaii (2006 – 2008)

To support the airlift mission of the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii, the US Air Force invested in new hangars, infrastructure, aviation facilities, and housing. As part of the C-17 beddown, the Air Force Center for Engineering and Environment (AFCEE) managed the design and construction of a new $42 million corrosion control hangar and maintenance facility (CCH/MX).

Aberdeen Proving Grounds C4ISR BRAC Program

Harford County, Maryland (2007 – 2011)

Under the BRAC directive, the DoD is investing over $1.1 billion in construction at Aberdeen Proving Grounds for the new Army Team Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) center. The C4ISR Team is transferring from Fort Monmouth, New Jersey and expects to hire 3,700 federal government civilian employees by the end of 2011.
