Duke University Center for Interdisciplinary Engineering, Medicine & Applied Sciences (CIEMAS)

Durham, North Carolina

The CIEMAS is a four-building, 322,000-square-foot complex and a major expansion for the Pratt School of Engineering, which more than doubled its teaching and research space. The $97 million center supports over 375 faculty members, researchers, graduate students and staff, and integrates science and engineering into the aesthetics and operation of the building design.

MIT Brain & Cognitive Science Center

Cambridge, Massachusetts (2005-2008)

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Brain and Cognitive Science Center is the largest neuroscience center in the world and an interdisciplinary research and teaching facility that integrates three pioneering institutions. The Center sits on top an active rail corridor and is built around a 90 foot, 5-story atrium. The 410,000 square foot facility includes wet and dry laboratories, classrooms, libraries, an auditorium, offices, and a conference center.

Algonquin Regional High School

Northborough, Massachusetts

Algonquin Regional High School is a public school that serves grades 9-12 in the Northboro - Southboro School District with 1,500 students enrolled. In 2003, the school district approved a $60 million renovation and expansion plan to upgrade the 310,000 square foot facility and infrastructure systems as well as add 150,000 square feet in new construction. The project was completed in September 2008 with a grand opening.
