Dover, Delaware (2005-2009)
Dover Air Force Base is the active duty military host for the 436th Airlift Wing, consisting of over 4,000 active-duty military and civilian employees. To support the airlift mission of the C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at Dover AFB, the US Air Force invested hundreds of millions of dollars in new hangars, infrastructure, aviation facilities, and housing. The base construction program included a new $15 million dormitory that includes 144 rooms in 36 quads with a CMU bearing structure, brick veneer, and metal railing balconies.
